We currently have Permanent Fulltime opportunity for a Sr. Java / J2EE Developer with a Major Federal contractor to work on a Five Year Federal contract located in Hyattsville, MD. 

Job Requirement:

·         Experience with standard J2EE code deployment (i.e. WAR/EAR files) in an IHS/Websphere/Oracle environment

·         Experience deploying web-based real-time reports

·         Experience using Struts 1.2 (v2 a plus)

·         Working knowledge of IBM Rational Clearcase, ClearQuest, and Application Developer

·         Expertise in Java and object oriented programming in a web-based application environment, including working knowledge of MVC application framework, core libraries, design patterns, struts, hibernate, JSP and Servlets.

·         Extensive knowledge of web servicing and service-oriented architecture in order to develop interfaces with other internal FMS applications, and extensive XML knowledge, as it is the common language for data exchanged

·         Experience with file transfer software, such as Sterling Commerce Connect: Direct and IBM Websphere MQ

·         Experience working in an environment centered around Rapid Application Development methodology

·         Strong Oracle 10g (or latest) database development experience for web-based applications

·         Excellent communication and code-documentation skills
