I love that my wife is artistic and creates costumes for our kids.
It’s a labor of love for her. She enjoys it and it shows.
My daughters make the requests and my wife is happy to oblige. She takes pride in her artwork and pays much attention to detail.
My wife loves it!

This morning, I asked my wife what she was having for breakfast. She answered with a question (as she sometimes does…ok…often does 🙂 ): What do you want to eat?
I told her that I was probably going to eat cereal.
And she asked again: What do you really want?
I told her that I didn’t want to tell her because I didn’t want her to go out of her way to make something.
I insisted that I didn’t want to tell her.
She continued to insist.
I told her: Probably bacon and eggs, but I don’t want you to make it.
She asked: Is that all?
I responded: Pupusas would be good, too. But that’s too much work. I don’t want you to do it. (NOTE: Pupusas are the tortilla-looking food on the plate in the picture at the top of blog post. They’re delicious!)
So she said that she would make them as soon as the girls went off to school.
I reluctantly (at least on the outside) accepted though she and I both knew that I was secretly happy.
When I came back from dropping off my daughter at the bus stop, breakfast was done. The breakfast smell was mouth-watering.
The end result was the lovely dish above that did not last very long.
Needless to say, breakfast was delicious and she even made some extra pupusas for the girls when they returned from school. (They love them, too.)

I love the cakes my wife makes for me.
Tomorrow is my birthday. My wife decided to make some special cakes for me for today and tomorrow. Today’s cake was a Tres Leches Cake. It was delicious.
I love how she is thoughtful and uses her awesome baking skills to make me something special.
I am excited to try tomorrow’s cake. It has guava (guayaba) in it!
I know it will be delicious!

I love to have healthy discussions with my wife.
I love to talk with my wife about life topics like:
- What would you do if you had no worries?
- What are you passionate about?
- What do you think your purpose is?
- What makes you happy?
And other similar questions.
I enjoy getting deep to understand more how she thinks and so that she can understand more how I think. We are sometimes not in agreement, but it is healthy that we can talk about it.
It helps our relationship grow stronger.
I love to go out with my wife.
I love go out to watch movies with her. I love to have dinner with her. I love to go to watch shows with her. I love to spend time with her.

I love when my wife makes me a surprise breakfast.
It’s the little things. I love her consideration. She knew that I had a lunch class and that I probably wouldn’t have a chance to eat so she made me a large breakfast. I loved it like all of her food.
I’m still learning from her and being considerate is always something I can improve upon.

I love to take my wife to business networking events.
I love to have my wife accompany me at events. I love to introduce her to others and love when she enjoys herself and engages in conversation with others.
