I love when interviewers ask me open-ended questions.
It changes the interview into more of a conversation. Then it’s just a couple of people getting to know each other a bit better.
I enjoy sharing my perspectives on non traditional job related matters. For example, in my last interview, we started by speaking a little about my background. The interviewer saw that I was in the Army and asked: What do you think the military provided you that helps you in the workplace?
I had never been asked that question before, but I had an answer. I answered teamwork and camaraderie, if you must know. I fully explained why I thought that and shared personal experiences.
I think he appreciated the fact and it was all for the better.

I love to photograph of animals.
I enjoy seeing wild animals in their habitat (or in our neighborhoods which have now become their habitat). I also take pleasure in seeing domestic animals.
I am always looking for good photo opportunities so when I see an animal in the right light or doing something, I snap a picture.
I am not a professional so I don’t wait for the perfect moment because it may never come, especially when photographing animals (well-trained domestic ones may be an exception).
I capture the moment and keep it for future reference to appreciate my artistic ability. 🙂

I love to learn interesting facts.
I love to read and I love to learn. There is so much to learn and not enough time to learn it all.
I, of course, enjoy learning interesting facts from books. However, I, especially, enjoy learning interesting facts from others directly. The curious thing about it is that they put their own spin to the fact or there is normally an intriguing story associated with the fact.
Stories have the side benefit of allowing one to remember the fact more easily. Then I can regurgitate the fact and have a cool story I can relate to others.
I love to learn interesting facts!
I love to go trick or treating with my family.
I enjoy walking around with the kids and seeing other kids and their families enjoying the night. To me, it is really enjoying some time together and seeing others enjoying themselves as well.
I love to go trick or treating with my family!
I love to watch reality TV shows with my family.
It is a guilty pleasure, but I see there is a psychological aspect to the shows. We like to analyze the participants and comment on the people to see who will fail/succeed and why.

I love when my daughter makes me breakfast.
My youngest wants to be a chef when she gets older. So she likes to practice on occasion.
I am happy to be her guinea pig. I love that she practices and I love to taste the food she makes.
Every time she cooks, she gets better. It’s a win win situation all around.
I love when my daughter makes me breakfast!
I love that my wife is artistic and creates costumes for our kids.
It’s a labor of love for her. She enjoys it and it shows.
My daughters make the requests and my wife is happy to oblige. She takes pride in her artwork and pays much attention to detail.
My wife loves it!
